Recap: Seton Hall Prep Pirates vs. Columbia Cougars
There's no place like home for the Seton Hall Prep Pirates, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against Columbia by a score of 68-59 on Saturday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Gino Romano continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 17 points along with two steals. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. Primo Delgado was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with two steals.
Seton Hall Prep's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-9. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points per game. As for Columbia, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.
Seton Hall Prep will be playing at home against Arts at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Columbia, they will head out on the road to take on Payne Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
