Soccer Game Preview: Skyline vs. Fauquier

The Skyline Hawks will square off against the Fauquier Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Skyline's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 11 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Skyline duked it out with Liberty on Tuesday. The Hawks came up short against the Eagles, falling 5-0.

Meanwhile, Fauquier got the win against Warren County on Wednesday by a conclusive 9-1. Considering Fauquier have won seven games by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Fauquier and bumps their season record up to 9-2-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those two matchups. As for Skyline, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10-1.
