Softball Recap: Punxsutawney Beats Indiana for Their Fourth Straight Win

Punxsutawney extended their winning streak to four on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 8-3 in the process. They put the hurt on the Indiana Little Indians with a sharp 11-1 victory. The Chucks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by seven runs or more this season.

As for Indiana, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-10 record. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since March 28th.

For Indiana's part, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maggie Cunningham, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Looking ahead, Punxsutawney will welcome DuBois at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Indiana does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
