Basketball Recap: Gresham Community Takes a Loss

Gresham Community lost to Marion/Tigerton two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats took a 40-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gresham Community's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Marion/Tigerton, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.

Gresham Community wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 36-32 loss against Wausaukee on the 30th. As for Marion/Tigerton, they will square off against Elcho at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs will be up against the Hornets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.6 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
