On Friday, Skyline needed a bit of extra time to put away West. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Panthers, sneaking past 3-2. That's two games straight that Skyline have won by just one goal.

They hit West with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nico Golesis, Grayson Orum, and Jax Jameson.

Meanwhile, Alta faced East in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Leopards who were credited with the victory. East got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Alta's one. Alta have struggled against East recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Skyline pushed their record up to 5-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Alta, their loss dropped their record down to 10-2.
