Monessen put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Serra Catholic Eagles by a score of 13-6. The Greyhounds have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Monessen's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Serra Catholic, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Monessen will venture away from home to face off against Fort Cherry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Greyhounds 6.8, the Rangers 7) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Serra Catholic, they will host Summit Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
