Football Recap: Tecumseh Comes Up Short

Tecumseh played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 62-26 loss at the hands of the Ardmore Tigers. The Savages' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

Despite the loss, Tecumseh still got an impressive performance from Jekhi Owens, who picked up 222 receiving yards and three TDs. With that strong performance, Owens is now averaging an impressive 108.2 receiving yards per game. Wyatt Dodgion was another key player, having thrown for 270 yards and three touchdowns.

Tecumseh's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Ardmore, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3.

Tecumseh does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ardmore, they will be playing at home against Elk City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
