Soccer Recap: Spotsylvania Comes Up Short

Spotsylvania's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the King George Foxes by a score of 1-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Spotsylvania haven't been shut out since back in April.

This is the second loss in a row for Spotsylvania and nudges their season record down to 7-6-1. As for King George, their victory bumped their record up to 3-10-2.

Coincidentally, Spotsylvania and King George will both be playing James Monroe the next time they take the pitch. The Knights will head out to face the Yellow Jackets at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Foxes will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
