Baseball Recap: Conrad Comes Up Short

Conrad was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Spruce Timberwolves, falling 13-3. If the Chargers were looking for revenge after losing 11-3 to the Timberwolves when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Conrad's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Spruce, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Conrad will head out to challenge Madison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Conrad has given up an average of 13.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Spruce, they will head out on the road to take on Samuell at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
