Baseball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Central's offense. They fell just short of the Clovis North Broncos by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Grizzlies have lost by exactly two runs.

Central has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Clovis North, they pushed their record up to 18-3 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home.

While Central had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
