The West Delaware Hawks will face off against the Independence Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

West Delaware is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest defeat since February 3, 2024 on Tuesday. They were dealt a 67-40 loss at the hands of Mt. Vernon. The Hawks haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Meanwhile, Independence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against Marion, falling 73-48.

West Delaware's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Independence, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.

West Delaware took their victory against Independence in their previous matchup on January 14th by a conclusive 63-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Delaware since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
