Pasquotank County came into Wednesday's matchup looking for another win against Camden County, but Xzavior Wiggins wouldn't allow it. The Camden County Bruins came out on top in a nail-biter against the Pasquotank County Panthers on Wednesday, sneaking past 61-58 thanks in part to Wiggins, who posted 22 points in addition to seven assists and seven boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in assists.

Branden Smith and Jayon Harris certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Smith went 6-for-11 en route to 16 points along with five rebounds and three steals, while Harris put up 16 points and six boards. Smith is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 55% in the last eight games he's played. Jamari Seymore was another key player, putting up ten points.

The win got Camden County back to even at 10-10. As for Pasquotank County, their record now sits at 8-10.

Camden County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-58 victory against Hertford County on the 7th. As for Pasquotank County, they have also already played their next game, a 72-70 defeat against Currituck County on the 7th.
