Preview: Seckman Jaguars vs. Jackson Fighting Indians
Seckman has been on the road for seven straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Jackson Fighting Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Two weeks ago, Seckman came up short against Pattonville and fell 59-49. While losing is never fun, Seckman can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 252nd, while Pattonville is ranked 117th).
Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Jackson's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They received a tough blow as they fell 64-48 to New Madrid County Central. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Jackson in their matchups with New Madrid County Central: they've now lost five in a row.
Seckman has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Jackson, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-7.
