South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] extended their home winning streak to five games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Sarah Elmore. Everything went the South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] Patriots' way against the Primero Bulldogs on Thursday as the South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] Patriots made off with a 57-33 victory thanks in part to Elmore, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 16 boards. The game was her third in a row with at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Abigail Anderson, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.4 steals per game.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaleysia Atkins, who posted nine points. Jocelyn Rivera also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Primero, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] will square off against Bethune at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Primero, they and Springfield will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.
