Hamilton Heights Christian Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 91-26 win over the Boyd-Buchanan Buccaneers. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 49-12.

Hamilton Heights Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Binetou Diop, who went 9-for-10 en route to 18 points and six steals. The dominant performance also gave Diop a new career-high in shooting accuracy (90%). Another player making a difference was Luisa Arias, who shot 67% from the field to rack up 12 points along with eight assists and eight steals.

Boyd-Buchanan is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
