Meanwhile, Glenbard West's undefeated season came to an end after eight games on Friday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Lyons an easy 54-34 victory. The contest marked the Hilltoppers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Glenbard West fell to 8-1. As for St. Charles North, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
