Lanier Christian Academy will be strutting in after a victory while Young Americans Christian will be coming in after a loss.
Lanier Christian Academy posted their biggest win yet this season on Friday. They blew past Killian Hill Christian 74-48.
Meanwhile, Young Americans Christian pushed their score all the way to 58 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 70-58 to Fideles Christian. While losing is never fun, Young Americans Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 454th, while Fideles Christian is ranked 196th).
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Caleb Blunt, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Christian Gibbs, who scored 13 points.
The win got Lanier Christian Academy back to even at 10-10. As for Young Americans Christian, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.
Lanier Christian Academy strolled past Young Americans Christian when the teams last played last Thursday by a score of 79-65.
