It was a good run, but Rapid City Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Brookings Bobcats. The Cobblers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Rapid City Central's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Brookings, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-8.

Rapid City Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Douglas on the 16th. As for Brookings, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Brandon Valley on the 16th.
