Basketball Recap: Sierra Takes a Loss

On Saturday, the Sierra Stallions came up short against the Fountain Valley Danes and fell 63-53. The Stallions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jaden Lopez-Hardy was his usual excellent self, putting up 24 points for Fountain Valley. With that strong performance, Lopez-Hardy is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. Tenzin Tinley was another key player, earning 12 points.

Sierra's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Fountain Valley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sierra will venture away from home to challenge Elizabeth at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Fountain Valley, they will head out to square off against Cripple Creek-Victor at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
