Football Recap: Munday Comes Up Short Despite Josh Dockins' Big Defensive Game

Munday lost against Archer City back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Moguls fell 44-37 to the Wildcats. The Moguls were up 37-20 in the third quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Despite the loss, Munday still got an impressive performance from Haiden Bowman, who threw for 106 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.

Even if they lost, Munday's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Leading the way was Josh Dockins with two.

This is the second loss in a row for Munday and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Archer City, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Coincidentally, Munday and Archer City will both be playing Windthorst the next time they take the field. The Moguls will host the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Wildcats will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th.
