Preview: Union City vs. Jackson South Side
Union City will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Jackson South Side in at 7:30 PM. Union City has the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.
Union City had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. Last Friday, they lost to Mayfield by a decisive 27-43 margin.
Meanwhile, Jackson South Side took care of business in their home opener. They steamrollered Ripley 55-10.
Jackson South Side's lifted them to 1-0 while Union City's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Jackson South Side can add another positive mark to their record or if Union City can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Jackson South Side's step.
