Baseball Game Preview: Eureka Wildcats vs. Lindbergh Flyers

For the second straight game, Eureka will face off against Lindbergh. The Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Flyers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Eureka is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.

On Wednesday, Eureka was able to grind out a solid win over Lindbergh, taking the game 7-3.

For Lindbergh's part, Jon Calcaterra made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Calcaterra is becoming a predictor of the Flyers' success: when he posts at least three RBI the team is 2-1 (and 11-12-2 when he doesn't).

Lindbergh's defeat dropped their record down to 13-13-2. As for Eureka, their victory bumped their record up to 24-6.
