Soccer Recap: Westside Takes a Loss

Westside lost against Bellaire back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Westside Wolves came up short against the Bellaire Cardinals, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 506th, while the Cardinals are ranked 220th).

This is the second loss in a row for Westside and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Bellaire, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westside will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lamar at 6:15 p.m. on February 14th. As for Bellaire, they will challenge Wisdom at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
