After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Falcon, Sand Creek was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Sierra Stallions 3-0. The win was some much needed relief for the Scorpions as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-11, 25-13.

Despite the defeat, Sierra saw an underclassman step up: freshman Chelsea Rodriguez Mendoza had 20 digs.

Sand Creek's victory bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Sierra, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.

Sand Creek didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Mitchell on the 28th. As for Sierra, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against La Junta on the 25th.
