Basketball Recap: Millville Takes a Loss

Millville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Our Lady of Mercy Academy Villagers an easy 60-36 victory. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Thunderbolts of the 65-46 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Millville's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Our Lady of Mercy Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Millville and Salem will round out the year against one another at at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Our Lady of Mercy Academy, they will challenge St. Elizabeth at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
