Volleyball Game Preview: MacDonald Condor vs. King's Academy Knights

The MacDonald Condor will head out to take on the King's Academy Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. MacDonald has now lost 12 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since September 22.

MacDonald came up short against Wilcox on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-17, 25-11.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for King's Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Pinewood on Tuesday.

While King's Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-17, 28-26.

King's Academy pushed their record up to 14-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for MacDonald, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-17-1.

MacDonald couldn't quite get it done against King's Academy in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Condor avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
