Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Casa Grande). They took down the Vista Grande Spartans 52-37 on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 43-24 back in January.

Casa Grande had a senior duo take command as Capri Morales posted 15 points and Tyra Vaughn had 14 points. Those 15 points gave Morales a new career-high.

Despite the loss, Vista Grande still got an impressive performance from Gabby Sepulveda, who scored 17 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Akayla Hernandez, who earned five points.

Casa Grande's victory bumped their record up to 8-18. As for Vista Grande, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-20.

As of now, neither Casa Grande nor Vista Grande have any future games scheduled.
