Basketball Recap: Coon Rapids-Bayard Picks Up 11th Straight Win at Home

Coon Rapids-Bayard waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They claimed a resounding 81-29 victory over the Nodaway Valley Wolverines. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Coon Rapids-Bayard's win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.9 points over those games. As for Nodaway Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-20.

Looking ahead, Coon Rapids-Bayard will square off against Stanton on Thursday. Nodaway Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
