Softball Preview: Fountain Lake Cobras vs. Dardanelle Sand Lizards

The Fountain Lake Cobras will head out on the road to square off against the Dardanelle Sand Lizards at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Fountain Lake is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 9.3 runs per game this season.

In what's become a running theme this season, Fountain Lake gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. Everything went their way against ESTEM as Fountain Lake made off with a 24-0 victory. The win was just what Fountain Lake needed coming off of a 20-5 loss in their prior game.

Abby Burden made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (she also didn't allow any walks). Burden was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
