Spanish Springs had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 68-58 win over the Rancho Rams on Friday. The victory was nothing new for the Cougars as they're now sitting on 17 straight.

Spanish Springs got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Travis Lee out in front who went 6-for-15 to rack up 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Hensley, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds.

Spanish Springs' record now sits at 24-4. As for Rancho, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 22-7.

Coming up, Spanish Springs and Sierra Vista will face off at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. Sierra Vista knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 20 matches -- so hopefully Spanish Springs likes a good challenge. Rancho does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
