Volleyball Recap: Leigh Comes Up Short at Home Against Cupertino + How To Watch

Leigh unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Cupertino Pioneers by a score of 3-2 on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Leigh took Cupertino into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21, 16-25, 24-26, 15-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Leigh will challenge Leland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Longhorns their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Cupertino, they will face off against Mountain View at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
