Softball Game Preview: Henrico Warriors vs. Atlee Raiders

Henrico hasn't had much luck against Atlee recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Warriors will take on the Raiders at 6:00 p.m. Henrico has given up an average of 9.3 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Henrico is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Thursday. They lost 15-5 to Maggie Walker.

Meanwhile, Atlee came up short against Hanover on Friday and fell 8-4. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leah Austin was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Izzie Turnauer was another key player, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Atlee now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Henrico, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Henrico suffered a grim 14-0 defeat to Atlee when the teams last played back in March. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
