Green Mountain has gone 8-2 against Littleton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Rams will welcome the Lions at 3:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Green Mountain and three for Littleton.

On Tuesday, Green Mountain didn't have quite enough to beat Standley Lake and fell 6-5.

Evan Hente was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out nine batters over 5.1 innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits.

At the plate, Corbin Wade was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Royce Pina, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one triple and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Littleton didn't have quite enough to beat Wheat Ridge on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

Littleton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Thomas Kusner, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Littleton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Green Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 3-15.

Green Mountain got the 'W' in their previous meeting on April 7th against Littleton by a conclusive 11-1 score. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
