Football Game Preview: Camas Valley vs. Myrtle Point

On Saturday Camas Valley will take on Myrtle Point at 1:00 PM. Myrtle Point will need to watch out since Camas Valley have now posted big point totals in their last four contests.

Camas Valley might be getting used to good results now that the squad has five wins in a row. They were fully in charge last Saturday, breezing past Riddle 56-0. Camas Valley were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Myrtle Point, and their game last Friday only extended their streak of losses to four. They took a serious blow against Days Creek, falling 12-62. Myrtle Point were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 6-44.

Camas Valley's win lifted them to 5-1 while Myrtle Point's defeat dropped them down to 1-6. We'll find out if Camas Valley can add another positive mark to their record or if Myrtle Point can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Camas Valley's step.
