Basketball Recap: Boys & Girls Comes Up Short

Boys & Girls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by the Lincoln Railsplitters 79-50. The Kangaroos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Railsplitters apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Boys & Girls' record now sits at 1-11. As for Lincoln, they pushed their record up to 5-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Boys & Girls has already played their next game, a 97-68 loss against Wagner on the 18th. As for Lincoln, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Erasmus Hall at 1:30 p.m. on January 25th. Lincoln is facing Erasmus Hall at the right time seeing as Erasmus Hall is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
