Volleyball Game Preview: Tarbut V' Torah Lions vs. Acaciawood Golden Eagles

After both having extra time off, the Tarbut V' Torah Lions and the Acaciawood Golden Eagles will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Monday, Tarbut V' Torah didn't have quite enough to beat Avalon and fell 3-2. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Tarbut V' Torah wouldn't go down easily and took Avalon into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-23, 20-25, 25-19, 15-11.

Meanwhile, Acaciawood lost 3-0 to Samueli Academy on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16, 25-17.

Tarbut V' Torah's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Acaciawood, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.

Tarbut V' Torah took their win against Acaciawood in their previous meeting back in August by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
