Football Game Preview: Northside Grizzlies vs. Bentonville Tigers + How To Watch

The Northside Grizzlies will venture away from home to square off against the Bentonville Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northside, yet to win a game, are hoping to taste some of the success that has characterized Bentonville's (thus far) undefeated season.

Northside is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Rogers on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Grizzlies were beaten by the Mountaineers 52-12. While losing is never fun, the Grizzlies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas football rankings (they are ranked 52nd, while the Mountaineers are ranked seventh).

Despite the loss, Northside got top-tier performance from Warren Bijou, who rushed for 161 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 10.1 yards per carry. Bijou was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 61 yards.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Bentonville faced off against Har-Ber on Friday. The Tigers took their game with ease, bagging a 38-7 victory over the Wildcats. The Tigers pushed the score to 31-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Wildcats had little chance of recovering from.

Northside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Bentonville, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.

Northside might still be hurting after the 35-14 loss they got from Bentonville in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Grizzlies avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
