After losing to Blaine the last time they met, Duluth East decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Greyhounds came out on top against the Bengals by a score of  3-1  on Thursday. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Greyhounds.
 If you add up the scores from across all four sets (87-85) Duluth East actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 10-25, 25-16,  25-23.
 Duluth East can attribute much of their success to  Evelyn Viney, who  had 22  digs and five  aces. That's the most  aces  Viney has posted since back in August.
Duluth East's win bumped their record up to 19-8. As for Blaine, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-12.
 Coming up, Duluth East is taking a road trip to  square off against Andover  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Blaine does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
