St. Christopher had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They had just enough and edged out the Flint Hill Huskies 2-1 on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for the Saints, who have now won seven matchups in a row.

St. Christopher's pushed their record up to 21-6 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Flint Hill, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-8.
