Baseball Recap: Crown Point Picks Up 11th Straight Win at Home

Crown Point and NorthWood pushed the score to 12-10 the last time they played NorthWood, but on Saturday defenses reigned supreme. The Bulldogs' pitchers stepped up to hand the Panthers a 3-0 shutout. The victory was familiar territory for the Bulldogs, who have now won five matchups in a row.

Logan Cotton looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Crown Point's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Sean Dunlap, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
