Softball Recap: Mountain Vista Golden Eagles vs. Rock Canyon Jaguars
There's no place like home for Mountain Vista, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They came out on top against the Rock Canyon Jaguars by a score of 8-4 on Wednesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Golden Eagles as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Shelby Chesser made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off nine hits.
