Softball Recap: Crestview Comes Up Short

On Tuesday, the Crestview Bulldogs didn't have quite enough to beat the Gulf Breeze Dolphins and fell 4-2.

Crestview saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tianna Hill, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base. Another was Taeia Schriner, who got no hits from her two at bats.

Crestview now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Gulf Breeze, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Crestview will face off against South Walton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Crestview is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Gulf Breeze, they will take on Pace at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games Gulf Breeze has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
