Clarkston is 8-2 against Rogers since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Bantams will welcome the Pirates at 4:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

West Valley hit Rogers with a eight-run fifth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Pirates came up short against the Eagles, falling 12-2. The Pirates have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Rogers saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lucas Hernandez, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Rogers' defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. Clarkston's draw gives them a new season record of 8-9-1.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Clarkston has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Rogers struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Clarkston was able to grind out a solid win over Rogers in their previous matchup back in March, winning 13-8. Will the Bantams repeat their success, or do the Pirates have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
