Volleyball Game Preview: Independence 76ers vs. Milpitas Trojans

The Independence 76ers will square off against the Milpitas Trojans at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, Independence was able to grind out a solid victory over Lincoln, taking the game 3-1.

Meanwhile, Milpitas made easy work of Santa Clara on Wednesday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

Milpitas not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Santa Clara between 18 and 19 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-19, 25-18.

Milpitas' victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Independence, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.
