Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Temecula Valley). They came out on top against the Palmetto Panthers by a score of 96-84 on Friday.

Despite the loss, Palmetto still got an impressive performance from Santiago Henriquez, who went 12 for 20 on his way to 33 points in addition to seven assists and six steals. That was a full 39.3% of Palmetto's points, marking the seventh time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Samfree Sarante, who went 5 for 10 on his way to 16 points and seven rebounds.

Temecula Valley has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 83.8 points per game. As for Palmetto, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4.

Temecula Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 85-80 win against Oakland on the 21st. As for Palmetto, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, an 82-62 victory against Foster on the 21st.
