Upland came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.2 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Los Osos Grizzlies 13-1. The Highlanders/Scots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by eight runs or more this season.

Upland pushed their record up to 13-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Los Osos, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-7-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Upland and Los Osos will both be playing Etiwanda the next time they take the field. The Highlanders/Scots will head out to face the Eagles at 3:15 p.m. on Friday, while the Grizzlies will host them at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
