Magnolia and Madonna squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Magnolia had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Blue Dons by a score of 3-2. The Blue Eagles' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Magnolia sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 22-25, 25-18, 17-25, 15-10.

Magnolia's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Madonna, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-9-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Magnolia nor Madonna have any future games scheduled.
