Baseball Game Preview: Northumberland Indians vs. Rappahannock Raiders

Northumberland is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Rappahannock is on a 13-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The Indians will host the Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Thursday, Northumberland got the win against Colonial Beach by a conclusive 17-1. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Drifters: they've now won nine in a row.

Meanwhile, Rappahannock won against Westmoreland on Tuesday with 16 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Raiders never let the Eagles get on the board and left with a 16-0 win.

Northumberland's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Rappahannock, their win bumped their record up to 14-2.
