Softball Recap: Dadeville Comes Up Short

Dadeville fell victim to Glenwood and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Gators by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Dadeville's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 12-6. As for Glenwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Dadeville will face off against Tallassee at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Glenwood, they will challenge Montgomery Catholic at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
