Basketball Recap: Idaho City Takes a Loss

Idaho City's last matchup with Victory Charter could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Tuesday. The Idaho City Wildcats lost 41-17 to the Victory Charter Vipers. The Wildcats have struggled against the Vipers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Victory Charter's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mikayla Zink, who went 6 for 11 on her way to 12 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Leah Ray, who went 6 of 15 en route to 14 points and five rebounds.

Idaho City's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Victory Charter, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-10.

Idaho City has already played their next contest, a 50-15 defeat against Compass Charter on the 24th. As for Victory Charter, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 38-27 victory against Vision on the 23rd.
